BRIEF OVERVIEW

Personal and Executive Assistants are some of the most powerful people in the world. Several entrepreneurs we look up to have attributed their success to their assistants including Mark Zuckerberg, Richard Branson and even Barack Obama. These high-performing individuals depend on their equally high-performing assistants to do their best work. This course will equip you with all you need to become an Anika Fragodt to a Zuckerberg or a Reggie Love to an Obama.

Exact job role varies from person to person depending on what the executive requires help for. but Assistants are typically responsible for:  screening phone calls  reading and responding to emails  managing calendars  planning travel itineraries  planning and attending meetings  liaising with clients and associates for the executive  managing specific projects  running other personal or business errands for the executive

Assistants can work in any industry and go on to become top executives in their organisations, working closely with other top executives. You can earn up to $4800 per year along with amazing job perks such as getting invites to exclusive events and parties, access to high-profile/influential people, free travel opportunities, etc.

THE FACILITATORS

Ibukun Akinnawo is the CEO and Co-Founder of Independent Personal Assistant (IPA), an agency that provides strategic virtual assistance to high-level executives and small teams across Africa. Since launch in January 2016, Ibukun has worked with executives at Andela, Café Neo, Mara Group, So Fresh, CapitalSquare, amongst others. Before founding IPA, Ibukun had  over 4 years experience assisting executives at, Litwit Investments, Nubia TV and Aphroden while earning her Bachelor’s degree in Classical Music at the University of Lagos.

Seye Kuyinu is the co-founder of Independent Personal Assistant. With a background in design and technology, he has worked in different capacities with different brands in the financial sector including ARM, Diamond Bank, First City Monument Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank.

He has a passion for productivity and skills development.
